I had my stock wheels, rear chrome bumper and chrome grill dipped for a while. It surprisingly lasts longer than expected. It was on my bumper for a little over a year and one side started peeling so I coated it in monstaliner. Now I don't have to worry about it. I then had my grill painted.

 

I really like the non-commitment factor...

I'm gonna do all of that for sure. Plus badges before I decide to debadge or not. Plus the front valance thing, I think. I just gotta wait for a wee bit less rain and a wee bit more sun.

 

I derped my badges years ago and it's held up fine.

 

Just remember light coats and build them up a little at a time. 1st coat should not cover it completely. I used a total of 4 or 5 coats. Toothpick to get it out of small areas because it won't scratch the paint.

 

I monstalined the valance too

 

Also if you do your wheels put it on thick af. I used about 1 can per wheel. It will make your life a lot easier when or if you remove it. Also WD-40 will help take it off.

 

I got as far as the center caps and never did the wheels. lol

Then I lost a wheel cap somewhere and haven't replaced it yet.

I did pick up the last of the stuff I need for the snorkel. I don't know if I'll actually get it installed tomorrow, but I wanted to have everything just in case. Sounds like @Benzdriver81 and I will do the hood struts for sure, though. I finally hunted those down at the post office and they're officially in my possession.

 

You pull them off and reattach?

 

Sprayed them on the truck and peeled it from around them. They sit just far enough from the truck to cut themselves as you peel it.

I've been looking into all this TW coins and patches business.
Someone needs to make shirts and hats.
That one guy that started a devil horn Toyota logo hat thread seems like he jumped the gun on his abilities to produce the product.

 

I've got the devil horn hats ready to go. Waiting on my new machine to get here to run them.






They are the 3D ones with the foam under the stitching.

 

That price is ridiculous unless he is paying full retail for those hats plus the shipping. I'm looking at being quite a bit less than that.

I'm also looking at doing a patch with the devil horn on it too. That will come after the hats though. Hats first, then skull patch, then dh patch. There is also another patch on the way.
