Are most ppl using a ratchet strap to help get the lower ball joint holes close enough to install the bolts? About to install my lift and was just wondering.

Typically you pop the UCA loose and not the lower ball joint. All you have to do then is pry the LCA down some as you put the coilover in. Also you would need to remove the sway bar ends while installing.

Thank you for the tip. I never thought of that, all the tutorials I watched either didn't mention anything about it or showed undoing the lbj bolt.

Coilovers in. Took her around the block a couple times, then a couple more. I haven't even replaced the rear shocks, and it is night and day difference in the ride. Any tips on the rear leafs/shocks? Let me know.

Did I put this in the wrong way. This is the left rear . The remote Reservoir is going towards the rear of the vehicle. Is it supposed to go to the front?14898907851491292355446.jpg

I believe so, but I don't think it really matters. Just easier to mount the resi the other way.

So it doesn't matter? As long as I mount it to the frame?

Can't see how it would make any difference at all.

Worst case you can ziptie them temporarily and confirm with @ToyTec Lifts later.

Left side the resi mounts toward the cab. You need to turn the shock 180°.

Also be sure to leave enough slack in the line so it does not rub on the bump stop mount. Although the steel braided line would last longer the Teflon lines on other brands if it did rub.

    Toyota's are awesome
The lines should be flipped around and along that frame line. Make it tight enough not to get rubbed by the tire but still enough slack not to put any stress on the line. Let me know if you need any help with how it should be i may be able to find some photos of the install.
    Thanks

Thanks. I think I have it figured out now. First time working on any suspension. I learned a lot. Some through trial and error. Will post up #'s when I get time to adjust the height of the front coilovers.
