I guess this is related, but you can't run Weathertech or Husky mats with the vinyl flooring, right? when I bought my truck in '14, my friend found me a brand new sport with vinyl flooring. I didn't realize that's not a standard option in the sport tacoma's (supposedly only comes in OR models). when I looked at Weathertech's site, it said it would work with vinyl flooring.

Speak with Dave...I've had direct experience with Mod Industries:
    http://www.modindustries.com/
He's usually pretty busy, so if he doesn't pick up the phone...just stop by his shop during his business hours.

Another shop I want to recommend is Best Buy Tires Hawaii. Randomly saw an ad for them and gave them a call. Extremely customer service oriented.

I'm running the Husky X-act Contour with my vinyl flooring and love it. Fits perfect and covers the whole dead pedal unlike the Weathertech which covers half.

Not sure who started that "fake news" story... Lol. I have the weather techs and I have the vinyl flooring in my off-road. They're awesome and fit like a glove...

Yes, the two parts (secondary air switching valve and Air Pump) came at roughly $1800. Labor not included. I'm ordering them from the mainland and will install myself ($980). Not an ideal situation by any stretch of the imagination.

 Damn, that's a lot for something that just wastes the clean air by pumping it into the exhaust, to make cleaner exhaust.

I wish I knew this before! I have the weather tech with the vinyl too. The dead pedal always bugged me.

It fits so snug that it won't move around. Everyone just covering their ass cause of the whole floor mat pushing the gas thing. If you are worried about it, just put some self adhesive Velcro tape.
