    Yes there was, is some cool houses there.My aunt had a house that the garage was built right next to a channel that went to the Detroit river. The back of the garage was a boat house, real neat. The house used to be owned by Charlton Heston's aunt.

    Yes a lot of the old places got salvaged, looted, bulldozed. My childhood house had steam heat, wrapped in asbestos insulation. I'm sure the plumbing was loaded with lead, that's just the way they were built back in the day.
