I wired my with two of these add a circuit-Low profile Mini Blade fuse taps I purchased on eBay. These are the correct ones for our style fuses. I used one in the blank fuse slot on the top row for power to light the switch when the trucks Headlights are turned on, and I tapped into the 4x4 Fuse to send power to the relay for the Hood lights. I used a 1Amp mini Diode fuse, and a inline fuse holder on the power circuit in-between the fuse box and the relay.

    EDIT:

I drove my 2nd Gen to the Home Depot to purchase some new window trim. I quickly grabbed what I needed, but wanted to cut them to rough length.

    Au Contraire Mon Frair!

A couple of Millennials were ahead of me with a cart load of various trim boards. After watching them take 4 minutes to cut a simple piece of 2 1/2" casing using a 2" rapid saw stroke I was getting angry. I watched them do this for a few pieces then I had to speak up and educate them on how to properly operate a hand saw. Things went much quicker after that.

I've been looking into ham radios.... Seem like a good idea. I was thinking of a little portable yaesu. The "charging cradle" doesn't charge shit. That's the wire you see going into the left side of the cb in my pic. I just stuck it into the center console underneath the Cb. I completely agree about all the wires though. It looked like my fucking birds nest before I hid everything. Now I just keep the charger in the glove box until I need it. This is how I keep the mic

Who knows... Maybe I'll get a licence and bounce some signals your way one day....is there anyway I can get my call sign to be grimeytaco?

I've been thinking about getting a HAM license for the truck as well. There are some nice small hams on Amazon.

I've looked at all the beofangs. Good features and great price. But if you look at the reviews of the yaesu radios everyone says that they are a world apart. That's a fuckin great name by the way.
