Your lifted too? That's not too bad out of a stock axle.

Yes have a 1,5 inch thick spacer. I guess thats not bad too, it's the rubber that seems to be old and full of cracks

That's the biggest issue with the axles is that the boots go. You could rebuild it but from what I have heard the remanufactured ones are worth the price. However you could get stronger boots and run them on your original axle.

I thought about getting a new boot too but I don't know much about axles and I don't know since when this one is cracked... Could I have damage on the joint? I would be sad to replace the boot and a few months later have a joint to fail... I'll search more info before getting a boot or a complete axle.

Thx for the link! Idem answer to Tacoma16 lol

Yeah the link @tacoma16 shared seems to have good prices and also a limited lifetime guarantee to consider. Might order from them and change both sides and keep the old as spare

Why does this thread have pinguins in the header... are there pinguins in Canada and more specifically Ontario?

The prices from monkey wrench are pretty sweet. I have ordered parts from them for other vehicles and can't really complain. For me even returns is easy as I would just go to Toronto. Haven't had to do that. Customer service is awesome too. They had a part out of stuck so they called and stayed we are going to give you x brand (more pricey) for the same price if it's cool. Lol sure.

hahaha for some reason when I read that all I could picture was them finding a picture of an RCMP officer riding a moose drinking a bottle of maple syrup :canada:
