TRD pro headlights

    Are the TRD pro headlights any brighter than the factory headlights on a base truck? Trying to decide if I want to get them or upgrade to retrofit.

    That's what I thought too just wanted to know. I like the look but I also wanted something a little brighter but not too crazy bright. As I get older my eyes aren't as good at night. lol

    No brighter. Not even blacked-out. Just smoked chrome instead of bright chrome.

    Volant CAI w/Ram Air Scoop, Volant Throttle Body Spacer, Flowmaster SS Dual Exhaust, JBA Cat4ward Headers, Body Armor Side Steps, ProComp 3in Suspension w/Pro Runner UCA's and shocks, Various KC Hilites LEDs.
    Indeed they aren't brighter. I have the TRD Pro headlights. They are dark, but still have a shiny dark chrome appearance when looking closely. For me, they are the perfect amount of black without getting Retrofits. But a brighter light would rely on a different light bulb used for these. I use Sylvania Silverstar ZXE bulbs and are really great. Albeit not HID or Projectors.
