I grew up in Southern Utah, so I'm biased.

Moab is an incredible place for way more than just wheeling. You have two national parks nearby, the Colorado River for whitewater rafting, mountain biking, hiking, backpacking, and quite a few great food joints in town.

If you don't want to deal with the usual Moab scene, Monticello and the country around there is super cool. Same goes for the La Sal Mountains, the Abajos, the Henry Mountains... The list is damn near endless.

But for wheeling, specifically on slickrock sandstone, Moab is the Mecca for good reason. Part of that is because there are tons of trail options, and not all of them are for badass built crawlers. Plenty of mild, scenic trails too if you're not looking for high pucker factor stuff.

The drive was decent, just there was no chance for using cruise and the pucker factor waiting for the next patch of black ice to appear. left me with a tension headache for the next 3 after I got home.

Get out there while the getting is good.

haha i just Moab so loosely. Was barely there this last week. Utah has SOOOOO much shit to go see and explore. Blows my mind. Tons of road development and trails.

Were as up here in Wyo/MT/ID it is a ton of back country stuff.

    Apples and oranges i guess.

I'd love to backpack in the Wind River Range someday. But not when the mosquitos are liable to bleed me dry!

Seems I have definitely misunderstood. Sounds fun as hell. Didn't know there was so much to it, so much do it. Perhaps I will look into going some day. Certainly seems worth it.

Yep, I figured that was the case! The pictures I've seen are absolutely mind-blowing, though! Pretty incredible country, for sure.

yes you should make an effort to go there at some point. Can do a lot in just a stock taco even. Its a very cool area.

No doubt, the Windys, Absorka's, and Beartooths...nothing like them to me. Very different and cool mountains.

Yeah. Once the Taco is done, or ready (susp, tires and whatnot) then we will make a weekend out of it.

Anyone try or hear about these eBay side mirrors? Need to at a minimum replace the glass in them but it seems just as easy or possibly cost effective for new mirror assemblies. Any insight or recommendations appreciated.

Edit to add: Power non-heat is what I've got

Anyone have experience with the firmer nitrochargers. Pn 60065. I didn't know they had 2 different shocks for the 1st gen until just now.

Pretty much anyone that has ordered an OME kit has the newer ones i think. I believe you have to request the older ones now.

Part numbers for the rear that I am seeing are 60065 (firm) 60062 (soft). I think the kit I installed from Toytec a few years ago was the softer ones which was fine but now with 500+ pounds in the bed I think the firmer option would soak up the bigger hits better instead of bottoming out.
