Love/hate with a black truck. But mostly love.

    Washed and polished today.

Damn, that is clean! I understand the love/hate. I've decided I'll no longer own one, and instead ogle over those that do and keep them clean.

    Nice job.

I put mine on yesterday and I don't know what was wrong with me.
Took me way too long for a great, simple addition.
    1. I left the tape on when putting on the passenger hood bracket, so that's staying there.
    2. Immediately after the second rivet on the driver hood bracket, realized I used the wrong bracket.
    3. I had to crack a beer at 10:30 (you're right, it doesn't feel right without one)
    4. I tried to put on the first shock upside down (after a mantra in my head of "do it right, dumbass" on repeat)

It'll be super nice for quick engine checks or oil changes though. Oil change will be too easy now with Fumoto valve

    Too much to list!
One layer down, three more to go! After the sound deadener (butyl) there is the closed cell foam, the mass loaded vinyl followed by the recycled denim insulation preferably with foil for an extra thermal barrier.

Good luck. I've been trying to get a sticker for almost a year.

Thanks! And Yeah I still get a bit of rub when I back up and turn, but I plan on getting an off-road bumper soon, so there will be nothing to rub on. And the Generals are great! Great look and a pretty smooth ride compared to my dad's nittos.

So I've had a squeez from my passenger side front area, thought it was brakes, replaced pads and rotors and it was still there...then the squeek went away but then when I would start moving I would get this bad grind rubbing sound, very annoying.. so I tore into it today and the cv, steering, ball joints felt fine. Then I got a good grip on my rotor and felt significant play, welp I found the colprit, super shot wheel bearing... moving it by hand feels awful.. I guess putting in the new leafs gets postponed

Just installed new headlight bulbs. Bright white silver stars. A lot brighter than the basics.
