I worked 4 hours cleaning and restoring the trim. Cleaned the engine bay and added a 23in cherry bomb glass pack image.jpg

:jellydance::jellydance: man, looks damn good my friend haha I wish my black truck looked half as good as that. I think the previous owner thought he knew how to use a buffer. well let me tell you. he did not! swirl marks real bad. I will be looking to get it professionally done this summer that's for sure.

I just ordered the same unit. Planning to do the factory bu camera mod to the hu. Have y'all done this or aftermarket?

I saw some YouTube videos to where people used a flash drive to upload their own images for backgrounds. Not this particular unit but other Kenwoods that looked identical, so I'm guessing it would work on this on. One was a similar model #, presumably an older model of the same unit.

Could you share your lift details?

I am interested in 33s and want to make sure I can stuff them in mine.

That's exactly how mine was, started out as a squeaking noise and progressed to a growl. Picked up a whole new hub assembly from nj36. Made the whole replacing process a simple task

That's where I'm at right now, I'm not sure where to buy a whole new assembly (everything from the front 4 bolts that bolt it on, to the wheel stud, the whole part) or how to press it out (have a ship do it) and what parts to get...

That's cool. I am an audio guy, it's what I do for a living, so I usually go nuts when it comes to insulation.

Look at this thread and talk with the OP. He's super helpful and everything you need to know is in there.

I've ordered from both the guys on the forum who sell the completed hub assembly and had good experiences with both but with nj36 I received my assembly on time as expected. BamaToys assembly took almost 2 weeks longer. Just my experience

Don't over think it. It's easier then you think. Just take your time & able through steering wheel geometry if need be that how I did my fogs. My truck didn't come w/ fogs being a base model.
