I have been researching this for a while....just not crystal clear on the wheel information.

Installing Bilsteins with front set at 1.75 with Icon 1.5 AAL tomorrow.
Plan to install 265/70/17 Terra Grappler G2

I currently have the TRD Sport wheels.
    17 X 7.5
    +30 mm offset
    5.5 BS

Would like to go with this wheel...
    XD Grenade
    17 x 8.5
    0 offset
    4.75 BS

I "assume" this wheel will sit about 1.75" further out than stock. Am I in the ballpark of being correct?

    Thanks

I've used this website in the past for comparing wheels and tires from stock to aftermarket:

    https://www.rimsntires.com/specspro.jsp

Plugging in your specs, it looks like the wheel and tire combo you are looking at will stick out 30mm more than stock, or 1.2".

The offset will push the wheel out ~1.2" more, but the wheel is also 1" wider, meaning 1/2" on each side of the wheel so the OP's estimate was actually pretty spot on.

Edit: BTW OP, welcome to TW! That set up will put you a little over 1/2" outside of the fender, depending on your tires.

Good point. I notice now on that web tool that adjusting the rim width seems to have no effect on the reported distance the wheel and tire package will protrude from the fender. Bummer.

Thanks. That's just the stance that I am looking for. This site has been very helpful to see all of the options for the lift, wheels, tires, etc....I can't imagine putting a combination together without seeing so many great examples. Will post a pic with information when installed...maybe it will help someone else decide.

Really pleased with everything. All seems proportional to me and no sacrifice to ride quality. This site was a tremendous help. Bilsteins 1.75", Icon progressive AAL 1.5", 17X8.5 XD Grenades, 265 70/17 Terra Grappler G2's. Hope this helps someone else.IMG_3501.jpg
