What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Installed some Dynamat Extreme sound deadening today. I do a lot of highway driving and these trucks are pretty loud so I look forward to driving tomorrow and testing it out. Next weekend I will be taking it all apart again to install the ensolite on top of the Dynamat. The doors have a really nice thud when they close now. I did notice that the speakers are light as a feather so those will be my next upgrade.

 

Don't leave me alone with vinyl...

Now I just need to figure out how to get the chrome off the Toyota emblem on steering wheel.

 

Made a little change on my Taco today using PlastiDip. I like it

I like this too. I like chrome, but the grill looks out of place. I think I'd leave the T and the surrounding chrome.

 

Damn, that rack looks bad @ss. If only there were a way to integrate a roll up tonneu with it. I would throw my money at whoever could do that.

Did you have to lift the truck to fit the tires and wheels?

Successful and productive weekend!

• Installed RCI front skid plate (my full write-up and a ton of photos here)
• Installed lamin-x fog light covers
• Added some decals to the bed (gotta represent some companies with badass products - @EddyRRT, @Joshp767, and @wileydavis)
• And happened to randomly make a new trail buddy who has a 4Runner Pro!

 

-Pull parts off and clean really good
-apply the vinyl wrap(use heat for hard bends and corners)
-re install

I did the rest of my interior with the same stuff. I like it much better than the boring silver that matches nothing on my truck.

I like mine too.

 

No, stock springs. Each bag is around 20lbs, give or take 5 pounds. So ruffly 300lbs. Normally the crew hauls the trees in a 1 ton truck. Those were leftover bags that needed to go back to the cooler at the end of the day. Most of the time the crew plants all the bags, but if we don't plant all the bags and there are only a few bags left, I will usually take them back to the cool since I go by it on my way home. For reference there are 120 trees per bag.
