Oem head unit. I only had to remove the plastic bins behind the seats. Subwoofer behind the passenger side and the amp behind the seat by the driver side. That way I can put the bins back once I decide to no longer keep the truck and remove the subwoofer and amp. I did not want to drill holes on the plastic bins.

I have this IMG_1216.jpg on my wife's Highlander and it still works. It has been more than 6 years and has not bogged down or had any problems. It is less powerful though compared to the one installed in the truck.

i also store a first aid kit, trauma kit, suture kit and my bullet resistant vest there.
the other side has an ar15, 4 30rd pmags, few glock mags and extra boxes of ammo for 9mm and 5.56.
guess i gotta figure some other place to store that stuff to fit a sub.

under the seat is t enough room.

This was my solution with a custom built sealed box for a 10" JL sub and no panel removal.

I heard there was some variation in rear panels though yours looks like mine to me. I couldn't make a factory stealth box work without major plastic cutout and elimination of the air vent that sits in the rear body wall there.

Spokaine, this is really really well-done!

    Few questions:

Do you have more pics from your build out?

How did you tap your amplifier, and did you use a LOC or speaker-level inputs?

Did you do any sound deadening behind/around the sub... do the stock plastic bins vibrate or buzz at all?

I would have to do some digging to find more pics as it has been a while. I had the amp and install all professionally done so I know how it was tapped. I Dynamat deadened everything and the driver side rear panel buzzed until I added a piece of foam if I recall.
