I'm interested in the mounts as well, anybody know if 2 mounts are needed or if 1 will be enough?
Kickstarter page shows them using two mounts on each end, but it seems that the two holes in the center will fit a single mount horizontally instead of the two vertical, anybody have any input?

You'll just be one set which would hold 2 boards. You have to get extended bolts to have 4 on one mounting thing.

Edit: good question I think you have to have two sets. One set for each end, check this link. https://www.tred4x4.com.au/products/tred-pro-mounting-bracket

Sorry I can't specifically answer that. I have seen people use one mount on one end and fab another for the opposing end. Hope that helps

Count me in for a pair, bag, and possibly the brackets depending on additional cost.

@Brewsy mastered the good ol interweb and shared this info with us- thanks buddy!

"Guys, so I've been looking into how many brackets would be needed to mount the PRO's, their website and kickstart campaign wasn't very clear to me. If anybody had doubts as well, it seems that the mounts are very versatile, and you can actually move the screws in different positions on the mount so that you can use any of the mounting holes on the TRED. In conclusion, 1 mounting bracket is enough for a pair.
Found this thread in the 4runner forums, scroll down to post #244, you can se how the screws can be moved from a narrow to a wide mounting position and that if you set it to the narrow position one mount can hold the boards using the two center mounting holes. "
