License to Carry.

I have my CT permit but I'd like to get one for the surrounding states as well cause it definitely sucks not being able to carry when I go to mass or RI

 

So far as I know no other states have reciprocity with MA cause MA = lame sauce

@jc11taco89 - There's currently a bill to allow reciprocity that was introduced to the legislature. I think there's a 'snowballs chance in hell' of it ever passing with you know who as the governess. Write your representatives to support it. The other bill that was introduced is one where the police can detain you and require you to show them your permit. It's supposed to be for open carry but I haven't heard if there are limitations. Concern is profiling. The defense in support of the bill is that an officer can stop you and ask for your drivers license, then why not your carry permit. Well, think about the hubbub if an officer were stopping a minority without cause... Officers aren't allowed to stop you just because they want to see you drivers license. You have to have committed a violation first or have probable cause. This bill violates the 4th amendment. Also write your representatives to oppose this bill.

I don't remember exactly, but if you take the course for I believe it was UTAH you can carry in 32 states

Morning, people. Happy first day of spring! Shaved off the winter beard this morning. Always amazing how you notice a breeze on your chin after 6 months of having a scruffy face.

Did I miss anything interesting since Thursday afternoon?

I've had their card since I was probably 22 or so. Every few months I'll use the points to get a shirt or something.
