Design teams are getting color palettes ready for the upcoming 2020 model year (paint takes time), and there is a strong preference towards a new Tacoma color - Yellow.

This will likely only be available on limited-run sub-models, specifically the TRD Pro, and will be modeled after the existing Toyota yellows in Japan. Something like what is on the Yaris.

    Thoughts?

Personally I think the yellow is okay on some Toyota cars (or Really good on the LFA), but on the trucks - probably not.

I'm reminded of the early 2000s Nissan Xterra, which was cool at the time... but who didn't think uncool things were cool in the early 2000s?

Obviously some people will love it, and there's a market for everything, but I think it will be terrible.

Datsun and old Toyota pickups are allowed to be yellow.

Dodge Ram shortbox hemis with the hornet stickers were yellow.

    I think that's about it.

I think a forest green would look good. Yellow might look okay. A deeper blue ĺike the Tundra.

Agreed. Toyota needs to stick with the colors with more depth like the pearls and metallics, instead of the flat colors like Cement (or "primer gray with a clear coat") even though it looks pretty good.

I wouldn't be interested in Yellow. I would have fought for green though.

I'll pass on the yellow truck. It looks like a state highway vehicle.

I cannot argue with the flawlessness of your logic.

I have a blue truck, and my balls are enormous.

    Baywatch. Pass.

    Okay, that could be worse...

Still prefer the darker colors. Or white. That's good too.
