Bigger problem with this debate is Subjectivity so I wouldn't say facts. It's only factual based on one person's opinion.

I just checked on this and the 265 70 17 are 458 per 2 after the 100 off. Am I doing something wrong or looking at the wrong thing

Yeah Im not sure either. But thats not that great of a price anymore since i can get them for 950 installed, balanced and out the door. Plus knowing that i got them from a shop, they will be more willing to help if something were to be screwed up with one. thanks for the info though.

Just to Clarify, duratrac 265-70-17 will work fine on a all stock sport right? I already removed the air dam (damn ugly air dam).

You "tell me" with your unsubstantiated opinion that doesn't match what MOST people find to be true. That doesn't "tell me" anything.....other than you have a theory that has proven to be most unreliable.

I got rid if my duratracs in Load range c @25k, because the road noise just kept getting worse & became unbearable around 20k. Otherwise good tire. I have the stt max now...and they make almost no noise. And are better all around in performance & wear. I get about 1 mpg better with the same size 265/75/16.
I and all my normal passengers could NOT notice any difference in ride/stiffness going from C to E in my Tacoma

I found out that the Duratracs were smoother riding, quieter, and seemed to wear better when I ran quite a bit more air pressure in them. They "powder tested" good for a footprint around 29 or 30 psi. To get good wear and decent gas mileage, it took closer to 37 or 38. They rode like a rock at that pressure, but that's one of the negatives of some C tires. I'm back to E's and much happier with the results. There are trade offs with everything.

Popular opinion, facts and from my real world experience E tires are heavier, will negatively impact fuel economy and will provide a harsher ride. When you're driving a truck with a budget lift (5100s) I wouldn't expect you to be able to tell the difference however.

Budget lift....That's some funny shit there....

5100s are one of the cheapest ways to lift outside of using blocks and spacers. Yes lift and tires have an effect on ride quality.
