    Hey Guys/Gals,
I'm looking at purchasing a 2013 TRD Offroad, it's a Black DCSB with 104K miles...I'm trying to get it at 20K otd price. What do you all think, would that be worth it? Is 100K miles to many at this point?

Also, I really like the look of the TRD Sport but I'm not sure what the exact differences are? Any one got some input for me....

Also, short bed vs long bed....any pros, cons regrets on a short bed perhaps?

    Thanks.

Welcome...you'll get many different answers to each of your questions. Do your research with KBB, Edmunds etc on the value and then you decide if it's worth it. Ask yourself if you need the long bed vs short bed based on YOUR needs etc....good luck in your purchase.

I agree.. check value then bring to a trusted mechanic to look over. Previous Maintenance records would be good too..

As far as sport vs off road and long and short bed pros and cons...check out one of the many threads here on tacomaworld that cover that same topic.

If it's in good condition. That truck could fetch $24k!?! I'd say at least. Good luck. Let us know what you get

I'm not an expert on the trucks themselves, but having just purchased a CPO, I did an extensive amount of looking for a good deal. The truck you're describing, provided it is in good condition, would be a really good deal at $20k out the door. Hell, $20k + TTL would be a good deal, from what I gathered in my area.

    Good luck with your hunt.

If your planning on camping and sleeping in your truck bed the long box makes it easier, road trips with a few friends it's pretty easy to fill the back with gear.

With proper care it should go another 200k
Miles. With only thing like belts hoses.
You might have to change starter. And alt onnce. Things like that are normal. But
With the maintenance done. They just keep going. Unless you just wheel the crap out of it

$20k out the door wont happen (out the door includes taxes/fees). It wont even happen in the door lol.
    Is it 2WD?

2013 TRD OR dcsb 4WD is likely more around 25k through a dealer. Maybe cheaper private party. These trucks are worth a lot.

Yes, it's 2wd...(forgot to mention this). They are working on 20K otd, 3 weeks ago they were 22K otd, they have had it for a month on the lot and continue to contact me asking what they need to do to make a sale.

Ultimately I prefer the long bed, but if they do go 20K otd and gimme what I need on my trade than I don't think i'll be able to pass it up...although I'm a little concerned about the high mileage, it's one owner, no accidents, and appears to be very well kept. Still searching for the long bed tho and really don't want Black which this one is...we will see.

Thanks for all the reply's.............it's appreciated

Agree on the price of the sale before you talk trade. And even when you say pit the door.
They are still gonna tack on the 200 to 300
    Fee for paper work

If you want a long bed, get a long bed. I love my long bed. I have no clue how people function with a short bed. You run out of space very easily. I think a 4Runner is better than a short bed.

Go 6 foot or go home.
