Bizarre. When I first posted the video I accidentally linked to my editing page on YT then quickly changed to link to the correct video. Maybe that had something to do with it.

I've used Krylon Fusion on a few projects now. Some with my Porsche, some with trucks and motorcycles. I think it works great. As long as the part is plastic and you prep it correctly (cleaning and sanding) it should last for a long time. Supposedly it bonds to the plastic.

It dries really fast and levels itself, so it's really easy to use.

Don't carry it around in your Tacoma. It might rattle against something.

Yes, Fusion is the bees knees! You have to completely clean and prep first though! Keep any product with silicone away from any part you are trying to paint. You'll get "fish-eyes" if you don't!! If you use Armour All or similar inside the vehicle, I suggest removing the part and getting it away from you're vehicle before you attempt to paint it.

I scuff the surface with a Scotch Bright pad after a thorough cleaning, then wipe down with denatured alcohol and a LINT FREE CLOTH as the final step before coating.

60-70% of a successful painting project is the prep work. Put the effort in first and your result will be a quality finish you'll be proud of.
