    Posted this in the Airflow thread as well..

    Took the truck out yesterday.. first time since installing the Airflow.. in the same, super dusty conditions I've taken it before the snorkel. Kept an eye on MAF readings and Intake Temps. I'm not sure how much having the blower contributes to this.. as its pulling in more air so its possibly helping.. :notsure: but my intake temps would drop 20+ degrees when rolling. sitting it would reach ~110.. driving it dipped down to 86. MAF readings were consistent as well, and didnt notice any struggling due to a dusty filter that I have experienced numerous times previously on the same trails.

    I should have went with a snorkel sooner.. true CAI and the blower loves it! :burnrubber:

    Yeah! Ive been a little hesitant about the oiled filter.. But the truck sounds so much healthier and smoother. That could just be the deletion of the AFE.. But the truck seems to like it!

    Sounded healthy in the IG link. I remember that some of the earlier snorkels were of a narrower design and that they used to choke up the intake flow. Not yours.

    Gets less saturated road heat up there, too.

    I love it. Smooth, pulls strong(er).. And I can absolutely tell the difference in air temps its pulling in, not to mention the cleaner air.

    I was worried about choking or delayed response due to all the restriction now, but I think the blower helps since its pulling in so much more. Really is a ram scoop now.

    I keep an eye on it everytime, and try to see if it struggles WOT or under other situations, and its flawless.
