Is that a law to wear orange when it is hunting season where you live? Here it is in rifle season. Bow, crossbow, duck and turkey don't need it because of short range and skyshots.

Nope not a law. I just spend a lot of time in heavy cover when I am trapping. Sound like a deer a dawn...lol

I have a 4-cylinder and there's a nice big space right behind the fuse box. I bolted it right to the fender well.

I have a 4 as well, you didn't made a plate to have it sit on it or anything like? I will have to check this better in am tire of having the compressor in its box inside the truck lol

Does your compressor has a reservoir? Or some kind of safety valve to protect the hose from busting if you don't pull the trigger of the inflator while it is pumping?

There was a square plate that came with mine. There is no way to get a wrench in there to hold the bolt while you tighten the nuts underneath the fender well - its too cramped. So, with the compressor removed, I put bolts through the slots at the bottom of the compressor and put a washer and a nut on after that. Following that, I put the plate on - this also keeps the bolts straight so you can line them up with the holes you drilled. I then inserted this whole assembly into the holes I pre-drilled. Underneath the fender well I used another washer and a lock nut. It moves a little bit because the fender metal is fairly thin, but not too much. I am thinking of adding another plate underneath the fender well for more support - but then again I overbuild everything.

    Make sense?
