    I have a set of Fox 2.5" Extended travels in the living room and all of the parts/oil to rebuild them there. Just need to rebuild and throw a heavier set of coils on. That and a nitro charge. I can't imagine Kings being too much different from Fox? Any reason to change?

    I was told to call @Downsouth Motorsports for a valve pack and just take care of all of it at once.

    I have nothing for the rear yet so I guess that's where my focus on the for sale threads will go!

    I should have mentioned when we were talking about the rear suspension, for the bamf relocation they recommend 3.5" back spacing so you may need wheel spacers out back. I can't remember what width Greg went with but I think he may still have some rubbing on the shock body.

    My Ray10s have a 4.3" if i'm not mistaken. That should give me enough clearance right? @goblue82 runs stock wheels which won't work with my TC gusset kit.

    Stock wheels are 5.5" BS, he is using *I think* 1.5" spacers (might be 1.25").
    I was mistaken, 3.75" BS per bamf lol

    With your wheels, at flex, you will probably rub tire on the shock body. 4.3" BS you'll need ~.55" wheel spacer which doesn't exist as far as I know haha so maybe .75" (the lower the back spacing the further pushed out the wheel is)

    Fox and king are easy to rebuild. Its icon that's retarded the way their shocks are made. We can talk further on this in person.

    I use 1.25" spacers. I don't rub the shock body at articulation with this set up. Remember, spacers and wheels with more spacing aren't different from each other. I used to be a nay sayer on spacers till I started reading. The lugs are just as taxed on a stock wheel with spacers as say the SCS wheel. But you can't be lazy with spacers. Torque checks are a must. Its not a one and done thing.

    Do you run the tc gusset for or without the sway bar?


    Wait, you have aftermarket wheels. You shouldn't rub at all with the tc gussets. Either version

    You're at essentially 4.25" backspacing with 255 tires, if Shane has 4.3" backspacing and goes 255 he shouldn't rub considering it's close to the same as your set up. If he goes 285 or wider/bigger he might need a spacer considering BAMF recommends 3.75" backspacing. Lots of various factors in play. Either way he's got some time to plan.

    Where were you going with this? I get your logic of having a similar setup, but you kind of left a hanging sentence with the "he shouldn't run." Did you mean rub?

    I like the idea of 285, but with that much offset of the wheel, I have a feeling I would get a very stupid stance with that large of a tire.

    You can always use the trial and error method. I don't have the bamf kit so I'm just reading specs off the inter webs. They recommend 3.75" bs, gregs at 4.25" bs, you're at 4.3" bs. Just bringing up that there's a possibility your tires might rub the shock.
