Yeah I wouldn't be able to do the pinstripes either. Our dealership was the opposite, there were a million sport, limited etc and they only had 1 off road to look at

What did you pay on the truck, not OTD?

Negotiated price on truck before TTL, excluding trades and money down.

It's also completely useless to folks who don't know how much of your out the door price was sales tax, title, and tag/license.

No, what was the price you paid for the truck BEFORE TAX TITLE AND LICENSE. OTD price doesn't help anyone here since taxes and title costs vary based on state.

34,500 out the door excluding your downpayment and no trade involved.
I will keep buying those trucks and turn around and sell them on Craigslist for a profit if you paid $30-32k for a truck that sticker for nearly $40k before taxes, doc fee, and dealer fee.
After 5% sales tax, $112 doc fee, $38 title fee, and $700+ mileage penalty from my lease return fees costed me $2403. You had to get the truck for about $30-32k before the dealer added all the mandatory fees.

I hate the fact that my TRD OR MT is supposed to be cheaper than a AT, but since its "rare" they couldn't move much off of sticker.

Paid $35,600 OTD w/ the $750 Grad rebate and a bunch of stress and negotiation.

I swear I could have saved thousands buying an auto truck..

Got my 2017 Silver RWD Limited w/ only Tow and Tri-fold cover (and yes, the tow package comes with all LTDs I think)...so the idea was get into a LTD as cheap as possible.. North texas area....

    Sticker $38.2...paid $35.7 + TTL (so approx. $37.6 OTD)

Got a similar price for a stripped LTD from the factory from a competing dealer.

Much as I hate slimy dealers, if you have the only p***y in a town full of horny men you you'd be dumb not to charge top dollar for it.

It's hard to find stripped down models of the TRD and limited models. I wanted one without the premium tech package and nothing else besides the towing package as I was planning on buying my own floor mats, running boards, replace the grille with a TRD pro one, replace the wheels, and buy an aftermarket tonneau cover from eBay for a fraction of the cost these options cost from the factory.
The most bare truck I could find was one with all weather mats, exhaust tip, and tonneau cover. My dealership was a pain in the a** and only moved a hair under $2k off the sticker price of $36,742 and paid $34,830. They didn't want to order me a truck with just the tow package as the only option.
I wish I started shopping around earlier as my lease was due back 2 days before I was planning to buy the truck.
