    Did somebody say pommes?

SWMBO and I did a bike ride in France a long (long!) time ago. I came up with the term "pommes de la route" (road apples) on that trip, as a way to warn the non-English speakers in our group as to what lie ahead.

Nothing like a good old Ketchup Sammich:drool:.

    Amen Rob.

Mayo in Europe tastes much better on frites than mayo here in the states. But NOTHING beats malt vinegar:hungry::hungry::hungry:

Best fries I had in the states were Curleys fries down at the Jersey shore...Deep fried in peanut oil and then I soaked them in vinegar:D

When I was in Germany, a cook(not chef) told me any thing that can be beat and breaded is Schnitzel. Now I'm hungry.

Fries with A1 steak sauce, discovered this by accident. Coney dog with mustard, onions, chili, no beans.

Hope your surplus isn't Berdan primed. Some of that older stuff can be fairly corrosive. Those old rifles can be a hell of a lot fun.

When I shoot Berdan primed in my Mausers, I always run a couple rounds of modern commercial ammunition before I go home. Blows out the corrosive stuff till I get home and clean them.

Mmm Kellerbier. Unfiltered and unpasteurized smoothness.

What a long aggravating sucky day. None of that matters now. Sitting back with a cold Shiner, and everything is right with the world.
    For now.
Pretty soon it will be time to realize I have to go to bed to get up for work again.:frusty:
Hopefully tomorrow will go better, but I doubt it. I have a load loaded that leads to a long tiring day.

Hotdogs with ketchup never sound good. In fact, if you don't have Mustard, just eat the hotdog plain. Much better that way.

We are n the piedmont so our waters come from the mountains (where Marty is and didn't invite me, I can see the mountain from my road) but there just hasn't been enough coming down this year.

Belgians claim they invented fritz. They were good and they serve them with everything. And they put ham in everything. I told my favorite waitress that pig and a potato didn't stand a chance there.
