    I have taken ibuprofen for em before, and caffeine is always my first attempted remedy. But this kind of headache doesn't respond to anything. I've been having these off and on since that engine fell on my head on Christmas a couple years back. Cut me up and gave me a dent in the back of my head.
    Maybe I shoulda gone to the hospital.

    Imitrex is a prescription drug for migraines. When you get a migraine the veins in your head lose tensile strength, causing the veins to swell and put pressure on your brain. Imitrex restores the tensile strength, not an opioid.
    The caffeine is to get the ibuprofen and or Tylenol into your system fast, not gradual. This only works if I catch the migraine just as it comes on, otherwise I throw it up.
    Migraines are trip, to say the least. I see auras, some anti seizure meds also work to prevent them.
    Go to the doc, maybe even a neurologist.
    Hope you figure it out, they suck big communists dick.
