I have that exact rifle. Inherited it from my dad. It has been in the family 50 years. That is a solid shooting rifle. Enjoy!

IMG_0081.jpg Slacked off buying stuff (except ammo) for the last few weeks. Ran onto a killer deal on this Springfield Mod 2 .45. With all the free stuff Springfield is giving with purchase, it was too good to pass up, even if I didn't NEED another gun. TruGlo sights were on sale too, so picked them up as well.

Got my request in to Springfield last night for the box of goodies (clock is running...) and took it to the shop today to have the TruGlos mounted up. Took it to the range and ran a few rounds through....it shoots MAHVELOUS! Hits where I point it and am able to keep it close while shooting rapidly. Feels good and works good, when my new holster for Mod 2 comes in, will start to carry it occasionally too. Like being able to have more than 7 in a .45, in a size that's comfortable to carry.

Just ordered an 18.5" barrel, magazine extension, and pistol grip for my Remington 870. I'm going to convert it from a hunting shotgun to a tacticool shotgun.

Bought a new gun belt from Bigfoot Gunbelts. Went with the 14oz. Brown with black hardware. Seems like a well crafted item.

Bed rug, ARE bed top, Weathertechs. Little goodies here and there!
How's the belt hold up? Been considering one but on the fence and don't wanna spend the cash on a belt I hadn't seen 1st hand.

If you're looking for a belt that will work with slacks or jeans but won't fold over with a full gunrig, I can't recommend the Lenwood Leather hybrid belt enough. I've worn one in tan for about 3 years and it looks almost new. Recently bought one in black so I'm covered for all occasions. Basically indestructible and looks great!

May have to keep an eye on mine. I've had mine for 5 years now with a few hundred rounds through it and no problems.

On another note, I picked up a hogue grip for my G43. So far it's nice.

Just arrived last week so I've only worn it here and there. A co-worker bought one last summer (he wears it daily) and it's holding up very well. Still looks new.

So i contacted mossberg and theyre sending me a new slide assembly for free. I asked them if i can upgrade to the tube assembly with a new forend for a discounted rate. She told me the OE assembly is $30 and the new tube assembly be around $80. She was only going to give me 15% off and not $30 off and thats all she can do. I told her charge me full price and send me my OE slide assembly and the tube assembly.

Just bought this IWB holster for my G26. A few of my buddies recommended these for appendix carry. Tons of options on their website, pretty pumped. Should get it in a few weeks.
