I suppose that makes sense. I'm so used to having everything on switches or fuses/relays. Mine is also wireless for feed in/out, but I need to reach my paws into the bumper to activate the clutch.

    Thanks for the info!

If you want to use three switches you could do one button for a winch master power, one for spool in, one for spool out. That way you would have to turn on the master power before the spool buttons would work.

I mostly just want a master power one so I'm not running power to it all the time. The remote is convenient enough for me for use.

No it's made by Lund. I wanted this over the Toyota extender bc the Toyota part is angled at the corners- so less space. The Lund HD Max gives a little more space for stuff.

Ah, so your going to somehow mount the factory camera to the license plate or get another camera to adapt to the toyota plug?

    Just getting started
It had the factory tow package which included a plug and play cable hidden well in the wiring harness. It required an adapter cable to plug into to match the brake controller.

I used the "crab hawk" around the Oregon coast for dungenous last October. It was a ton of fun compared to setting out pots. The down side is I think I caught the same tiny crab about 20 times that day lol. I did get a few keepers though.

I had a bluegill do that to me while trout fishing in a deep lake. I must have been 50 feet down...and I kept snagging the same damn bluegill on my fancy trout walking rig. Finally had enough of that little bastard and threw him to some seagulls.

If your still thinking this route I have a winch In/out 2 way toggle you can have, Ill throw in an envelope for you if you want it. I bought it thinking I was going to do it that way but the wireless winch negated the need for it. You can also run a power interupter solenoid into your switchpro if you really want a power on /off function for the winch. I didn't end up doing this either but I did email switchpro customer service and confirmed it was OK to do so.

That switch-pro info is good to know. I figured they wouldn't want me running it directly inline with the winch [they can pull some serious amperage] but it's good to know that they a-ok running it with a solenoid.

I appreciate you offering the switch. I think I'll probably go with either an interrupter button on the switch-pro or with a physical button, as the wireless remote should do all that I need. Thanks again though!

Digging the rear light guards, any chance you have details on where to buy?

Mine were scratched pretty good by some unknown person and think these will hide that.

    Thanks

The Truck Covers USA roll up tonneau I ordered came today, and since it was the warmest day forecast for awhile, and I had the day off, I decided to tackle the install. I spent about 2.5 hours or so, but I took my time. I did it by myself, and it wasn't as hard as I was expecting it to be. The canister is a little heavy to lift, but I managed. I got the side rails that will fit Yakima crossbars so I can carry my bikes or other accessories. Fit is great and quality seems very good. Downside is I don't think I will be able to use the factory tie down cleats in the bed rails (even with the cover retracted).
