Finally got these installed today! Super stoked, set at 4/3 with probably about 1.25 lift up front, I'm assuming it will settle a bit. Can't wait to test them out off road

You guys think it'll look stupid at the 6/5 setting on a 4x4 (supposedly 2' lift)? and stock rear? I can't seem to find the right side 5160's in stock anywhere and sort of didn't want to do two lefts...

Probably not with the right size tires but then it may drive and perform stupid....

Thanks, I went back and forth forever before figuring a leveling kit is the way to go. As far as the ride goes I've only gone about 3 miles from the shop to my house, it was a great teaser though!

No rear yet, I ran out of mod money, but saving for some 5160's, hopefully only a couple months. I figured if I'm only going to level it out, I can roll with the stock rear for a while

Yeah I'm sure it's not a huge difference anyway

It would probably be a little bro'd out, your best bet is to measure from the wheele well to the middle of your rim front and back to see how much rake you have. A lot of people say they get a little more lift than the manufacturer specs say too, so you could end up with a little more than 2 up front

Anyone 3rd gens go from 5100's to these?

I spoke with a Bilstein rep at an Expo this weekend, and he said the 6100 are the best bang for the buck for the weekend warrior. They had their new 8200's, but I think those were pricey.

Currently I'm running 2nd Gen 5100's with 885's. Rep told me that their shocks are tuned for the factory springs, and that lots of people complain about a harsh ride with the OME Springs. I will say my 5100's 885's at 0 ride pretty rough on wash board and rocky roads. Rep also said the 3rd gen shock valving is different that the 2nd gen, and that is why it took so long to release them.

I'm still new to this but would changing the circlips require doing an alignment again each time they're moved around? for sure I don't want the bro lean so likely doing 1.5 tomorrow and hopefully it'll settle a bit. Hopefully that'll do until rear 5160's are in stock again. The sport suspension is so choppy i'm starting to hate driving it...

Put mine on 4 and 5. Front is dead even on both sides. 5160s in the back.

Maybe. Depends on the truck. Go off the Bilstein install instructions measure your truck too.

Every truck is a little different. See write up in my sig below

Would ride just a hair lower on the driver rear, due to the taco lean, but the passenger would be even. With my 1 inch blocks the driver is about 1/2 inch higher and passenger about 1 1/4 inch higher than the front.
