I still can't track down a stock air box for my 97 so I ordered a new K&N filter for the one already on the truck when I got it is all degraded. The gauze is flaking out in places.

Had some fun on the snow at work and tested the flex on them old parts. Not terrible, once it's on 3 wheels in either direction.

 

You can mask and paint it.

Check out the first page of my build. I color matched mine using automotive base coat in an aerosol can. Then finished with two part automotive clear coat in an aerosol can.
