A few audio upgrades, tinted windows, remote start because it f'n hot in Texas! 6in Fabtech DB lift, 17x9 Fuel Trophy wheels, 315/70/17 Duratracs,BAMF 80in sliders w/kickout, Prinsu cab rack w/30in Heretic light bar, custom bedside decals, custom hi-lift jack brackets, US Offroad front bumper w/winch, bed rack with RTT, CB, Short wave base station, Ultra gauge, color matched grille surround, an ungodly amount of recover gear, ARB fridge, hood struts, RotoPax, traction pads.
I'll try and rethread it first and if that doesn't work then I'll use a helicoil. Only concern is how much torque can you apply to a helicoil?

There's that fancy name for it, I think enough torque for the brake caliper atleast. What's the plan for the vacuum hose?

Random though. Contact lift shop, approach them (non-hostile) but explain the situation. See if they want to make it right first.

Yep. My suggestion as well. Befkre doing anything to it, I would see what they are willing to do for you, Warren.
After you begin to tap it, it will be too late, IMO.

Anyone looking for some Texas made gear? Made in Tyler, Texas! I know a couple people said that they may be interested in it.

Use the code RCSS2017 for 25% off your order from Rugged Cactus. The hat fits great for larger headed people and the shirts are super comfy.

I am working to get some velcro backed patches and koozies made by them, so will have some to hand out to people hopefully at Jambo.

Oh I agree, but honestly I always give people a chance to make it right first. They may value customer service, which is only going to bring them more business in the future. I'm not saying hold your breath, I'm just saying it's worth a shot. Them fixing a bolt instead of placing blame makes me more apt to use them and recommend them to others, and good companies know that.

We for sure didn't plug the front back in. Should be able to epoxy that nipple back on. Not sure why the damn thing is even there. It's all electronic in the actuator so there's really no need for a vacuum on it.

''Tis a true statement. I figured it was just to act as a vent for the actuator so it wouldn't build up condensation

Plug in the electronics and see if it works with the hose not connected.

@Overkill07 if it's works without that nipple then I'd just exoxy the hole. One less place for water to get in.

Edit: from reading around on a couple of forums it looks like it is just a breather hose for it. Which is just stupid, thats just another place for moisture to make its way through.

Just found out my Big Bend trip has been moved from next month to around Sept - October, so that leaves nothing in the way of Jambo.

I was 85% good before, i'm like 97% good now.

Constant expansion/contraction of liquids and gasses is not good for seals. It's an essy way of preventing premature wear on the axle seals and gaskets, of the sort.
