Was yours a Trail Edition? ... apples and oranges from the regular SR5.

    Mine was an SR5 Premium.

I was more referring to the dash gadgetry. Things like the display between the gauges and the head unit. The newer Taco's is much nicer.

No doubt the trail edition 4Runner will be more capable offroad though.

One thing that was always a problem with the 4Runner though, was lack of space. It's 18" shorter than a DCSB Tacoma. I didn't think I would miss that space, but it was always a problem.

The one @taczilla is looking at has it. Not a problem unless you want to remove the sway bars, in which case it's one more system to cap off.

Pretty sure KDSS limits lift options only to spacers unless you uninstall the KDSS entirely.

you can do it, but I believe some brands require different kit setups between KDSS and regular.

Everytime ive done GBs on T4R suspensions, the vendors price out different for KDSS and regular lift kit options

Literally have nothing to say for or against except anecdotal info I found on T4R.org and the like when researching lifts. If he says it works, it works (at least for his setup).. others say you can only run spacers.

Like all things, somewhere in between 2 different stories lies the truth. :notsure:

Thanks, man. It's the shitzas, but I'll deal with it.

Just got off the phone with the insurance. They are more than agreeable to settling on the truck and all the work/parts that I threw at it. I merely have to provide a list and they'll send it forward to a specialized adjuster (thank God for the build thread).

In the meantime, I do have to wait for the 30th of the month in case of recovery (9 days...tick....tick...tick...). :pccoffee:
