    Not sure why they would be pricing them different unless there is differences in the travel of the shock.

    I installed an OME lift on my 4Runner TE with KDSS and I didn't experience any long term issues. I just secured the KDSS hydraulic cylinders in place with ratchet straps and removed the UCA to get the front coilovers in and the rear springs took a little spring confession to get into place but it wasn't a huge issue. I think all said and done I spent 9 hours installing the lift all by myself and that included uninstalling the OE shocks, disassembly, install top plate on OME springs and shocks. I've also seen several other 4Runner TE's with KDSS that have lifts.

    Here's a pic from my gallery with one of the OME's installed, you can see the KDSS cylinder to the left of the shock and the orange ratchet strap keeping the cylinder from extending. Edit...I can't internet.

    I don't think I ever started one for it. Most the pictures were either uploaded or dumped into the live thread.

    The things I did to it though were.

    Installed ARB bullbar and Warn M8000 winch with synthetic line.
    In cab winch control utilizing the heated seat blanks in the console (didn't have heated seats)
    OME lift with medium coils (forget actual number)
    BFG AT KO's (285's)
    CB
    BAMF sliders

    Clif notes..

    I paid $24,800 in 2013 for the truck new.

    4 years and 58k miles later, it was valued by State Farm at $24,400.

    With my modest aftermarket stuff included, they wrote me a check for just a few bucks less than $30k.
