Norcal Spotted and BS Thread

New alternator went in Saturday. Noticed the idle immediately.

Checked with the wife this morning, and she said same. Runs fine, idles rougher than before.






Planning on getting her some new wheels SOON. Like as soon as we're done moving in.

 

Typically it should have learned by now. Before I suggest anything else I would ask that you go back and check every connection, wire, cable, hose, etc that was disconnected or moved. Make sure nothing is loose or pinched.

Then told him to fuck his hat. Put me on ignore if my avatar is too much, then it goes away. Then you're .01% covered on things that'll get you in trouble at work. It's TW, not the news. This has happened a couple of times when I've disconnected the battery. I usually start the truck and let it sit and idle for a few minutes to reset the adaptations-at least until it warms up. The quiescent state helps because all it's doing is idling. It should re-adapt while driving but that probably takes quite a bit longer.
