I need to get out and ride more often now that the weather is looking good!

I also would love to sound deaden the cab, just not sure my skills are proper for it!

 

Thanks man! I am just glad to have a bike that works with my height and actually feels good to ride!

I am hopefully going to take a ton of pictures of the process of the sound deadening and will try and do a good right up for it since I will be doing the doors, back wall, headliner, and hopefully the floor. I just hope I have enough material...

Think you could do some type of write up during your sound deadening install? I work M and Tue but would love to lend a hand if I could.

 

I am planning on it! Just depends if I remember to take a bunch of pictures of everything.

I hope to have it completely done by 3pm on Tuesday.

So I may actually start on it this Saturday and try and get the doors done.

Will do. I work Noon to 1am on Sunday and have plans to go to Tyler State Park on Saturday for a bit, so will see how far I get Saturday.

 

Couple updates today.

Got the bike carrier in this morning and mounted up on the truck.



Then got my package from Equipt Expedition Outfitters with the National Luna Single Battery Monitor.

 

Pretty damn good day today.

Hit the trails at Tyler State Park and tested out the MTN Bike and then had a nice picnic and then did some hiking with the dog!

 

First time to commute to work in a bike. Not a bad 1.5 mile ride on a very nice Sunday!

 

Soooo this is happening.. got all four doors done yesterday, now starting on the back wall and may attempt the headliner today. Just have to go to work at 4pm today, so I don't have a lot of time.

Forgot to take pictures on a lot of things like when the front doors got done and everything...

 

Back wall and underneath the rear seats are now done.

Called it a day though. I am pretty sure I have enough left to be able to do the headliner and possibly some more of the floor.

Thanks! Still have a lot to go, headliner is the biggest part of these entire thing.

 

Heck yeah looking good! I'm curious how much sound gets cut out once you're done.

 

I can tell a difference all ready. It has helped to reduce road noise from tires and bumps and such. I just need to do the headliner so that wind noise gets reduced some more.

Not to mention is really helped the stock sound system out!

 

Dang it man!!! I want to do this bad!!

 

Awesome! I can't wait to tackle this project myself. The added benefit to the stock stereo boost is good to know I didn't even think about that.

Do it man! Now I really want to do the upgrade of the stock speakers, would also like to get a sub in the truck, but don't know when I would be able to do that.

Yea, first time I heard a song with some bass in it I was like damn, this did pretty good. Just need to tackle the headliner and some more of the floor and would be pretty nice in the truck. Really wish I could do the MLV to do even more soundproofing on the truck, but that stuff is not cheap.

Which awning? The one I have not bought yet and still deciding if I even want to buy it?
