    Really all of the major cities in SC plus Asheville are really picking up steam in the breweries arena

    A lot of quality stuff within a couple/3 hours or a weekend trip

    @Matic watched her for a weekend while I went to TN for a friend's graduation last summer. He survived, she survived. If I knew I wouldn't be camping/traveling nonstop on my trip, I'd try to fly her out with me. But that just won't work.

    LA is the worst.

    My work is 30 miles from my home and it takes at least 2 hours in a car, 2 hours by train. It is so expensive and I'm yet to figure out why. The beach makes sense. Beautiful, but other than that, it's terrible.

    We don't get tornadoes though. I'd like not to deal with those.

    Weather is nice. I love Santa Barbara (Lived there 4 years) and San Diego. NorCal is a no go for me. I could do Santa Barbara forever. Just very pricey.

    I was born and raised here. People stay because they don't know any better. Californians believe every stereotype but their own. They think every person in the south is racist, everybody in NY is mean, everybody in CO is a stoner... etc. From all my experience travelling, the top of my places to end up are Denver, Santa Barbara, Atlanta. Who knows? maybe greenville will slide in there.
