That's the thing though, that tiny nipple only goes to the electronic portion of the actuator, no liquid or gases in it, just air, and nothing constantly moving in it to cause heat. Theres a different breather tube for the differential housing itself.

Honestly if that's all it's good for then that hole that was punched in the front of it will serve as the new vent hole. You know what one I'm talking about....

    They are Japanese engineers.
They know thing we cannot even begin to comprehend.

I thought it was the vent hose/nipple. Does it go into anything else or just end at a vent? I mean, electronics can create emmisions, to, if not vented properly.

    Not sure yet.
I trust them and will always recommend their shop. A stripped bolt is an easy thing to do with power tools. I'm not mad at them, was just irritated that I could be up and running this week. I could bring it to them, and I'm sure they would take care of me but I'm not sure I want to go through the hassle and wait to have it done.
If I was ready I could....
Well I would have to be able to find the nipple first.... (insert joke here)

I know we put it in the tupperware bowl but looks like its disappeared from there.

Uh oh, it was in the 20oz water bottle that was cut in half with the lid side down (bowl shaped) in the cupholder of the folding chair.

I'm guessing when the chairs were put up it was lost.

I imagine that nipple found a sweet walking stick, grew a long beard, and roams the front yard and surrounding areas of Warren's neighborhood as a primitive nipple, free from responsibility to vent gasses from a boring ass front diff that failed him when he was having the time of his life at Gilmer a few months ago.

His family forgotten about, and they in turn have cast him aside, they will be re-united by fate one day, only to discover they are no longer enough alike to understand each other.

    And so the story begins...
