NOTE - Fog relay is also in small fuse box for 2013 model year.
Has anyone experienced the loss of daytime running lights after splicing into the light green wire?

I would like to direct this question to munkeeboi or anyone who has a 2014 with this relay configuration. I have a 2014 double cab and my relays are in the same location as the ones in your post from 11/17/2011, about the 2012 Tacoma. Can you elaborate for me exactly how to make these connections to the slots that you have circled in green, in the photo please.

Remove the Aux relay box from the main relay & fuse box.
    Remove bottom cover.
Cut the red with black stripe. Tape and secure the harness side. Crimp a small male terminal to a short length of wire on one side and a union crimp on the cut red with black stripe wire.
Wedge the small male terminal into slot 1 of the Accessory SKT Relay. Secure in place with tape.
Test, then close it back up.

If you have the seat heater relay then no need to add an additional length of wire.

Thanks for your reply. This certainly looks more like what I have under my hood. I don’t have a lot of knowledge or confidence when it comes to messing with the electrical system in my truck but this looks like a reasonable option for me to try. I’m a man of more blessings to count, but I have no luck at all. :)

Does your Tacoma have the seat heater relay?

Have you verified if the terminals for the heated seat are there?

I don’t mean to lead you to believe that I know anything about this. I would like to have fog lights anytime but I have no knowledge of auto electrics and am scared to death of making a mistake with it. That’s the reason for all my questions. :)

That's no problem at all... the Forum is for exactly that...

Well I’m gonna look at your instructions tomorrow but I may chicken out on doing it until I can find someone with more knowledge than I in the subject. I’m a very handy person with most things but again the electrical system in my truck is frightening to me. :)
