I've been using a beach towel to cover my cloth seat after the gym but sweat is still getting into seat. I'm eyeing the TRD seat covers and emailed a Toyota dealer on ebay that is selling them and they said they do not know if they are waterproof.

    So...

    1. Are the TRD seat covers sweatproof?

    2. Are neoprene seat covers sweatproof in general?

    3. If TRD seat covers are not, is Cover King or any in particular?

    Wet Okole!

Waterproof, perfect fit, custom made, tons of colors, option to add custom logos. They are the best.

If you prefer a LOT cheaper, more temporary in nature, and washable, stop by a medical / durable goods supply store and try something like this

I use a couple after water sports (wetter than sweat, and I'm a sweathog here in Fl) and the seat is just fine.

Any neoprene cover may keep the seat dry and look ok, but here in Fl you probably won't like them much in summer. Not that they are hot, but that they don't breathe, and you'll wind up with swamp butt w/o going to the gym.

My son lived in your area several years, and it's much hotter there than here on the coast.

Good question, I was thinking about this the other day too. My seats are getting pretty funky after a couple of years of jumping in dirty and sweaty after bike rides so I was thinking it was time to wash them and put a cover that is easier to clean over them.

I haven't cared much (in limited experience) for Wet Okole in the past, I find it's about as much fun as sitting on a trash bag in the summer. But that was in an FJ40 so you're baking in the sun and no A/C. Are they comfortable in your trucks?

Sure thing. To be honest though, if my gym was a block away, I'd definitely walk/jog/not drive.
