The one play the NHL refuses to review or even call on the ice. Lucic has done this about a half dozen times over the year and has never received a Spearing penalty for it let alone a fine...

If the puck gets shot over the glass by a defender but it lands in the bench I thought that was no penalty

Unless the Linesmen or Referee has a clear line of sight that suggests that if the puck was shot on the other side of the ice that it would of cleared the normal level of the glass on a non bench section. I believe the rule has something to that effect as a clarification/situation. Maybe that's what happened?

 

I love Sid but not a fan of that move at all.

BTW, Geuntzel got murdered on a hit tonight. Def a bad hit, very similar to the one Manning did to him....maybe worse. Puck never touched him or was close to him.

Other than that, good night for the Pens. Sid's goal was amazing. Murray was solid as well, holding down the fort. Again, Sheary is just amazing. People outside of Pittsburgh need to watch that kid play, it's very exciting. Hopefully he gets some more press, he's really good.

 

Where did our resident Sharks fan go? Any concerns with the team unable to win a game as of late?
