    How much are the Predator Steps and where can I get them?


    Do you have Predator Steps?....can I see photos of them?

    Any other suggestions?

    Predator steps can run close to $600 from the dealer.

    You can also find them on ebay, or really you can just google it a you'll find where to get them, make sure to get the right bed length. @JaysTRD hooked me up for about $380.

    Depending on your uses and style. If your into heavy offroading, you want to weld on some rock sliders. If moderate, than the bolt ons work just fine. If you just want something edgy to help you get in, predators help.

    No drilling required. There are caps covering holes where the screws will go. You can look under your truck now and see 6 plastic caps on each side. Pull them off carefully (easy to do) line of the steps, put the included washer on the front like the instructions recommend and screw in the bolts.

    Easier with 2 people but I did it myself and a cardboard box as support in under an hour.

    10mm socket with extension is the only tool you'll need btw.

    They are nice looking steps but functionally, they are little bit too far forward. They need to be placed back about 2 inches for optimal stepping.

    I got my predator steps on Amazon for $549 with free delivery. They're all aluminum, powder coated, and a perfect fit for my 2016 access cab. I don't go off road so they are perfect for me. Nice secure step up into the truck, and when getting out, my leg doesn't rub like with running boards. I've had both and the steps work for me. I'm 70 years old, and installed them myself. They are very light and bolt right in place. A little pricy, but they should last a long time.

    I've got a pair on a Double Cab Long Bed that I'm looking to sell. The steps work well but I'm looking for a better rocker panel for heavy offroading. They've only been on the truck for 2 weeks, they were installed from the factory.

    I worked mine in when dealing on the truck. Showed my sales guy a local pair on Craigslist that were like $300 that someone took off his truck new. Dealer gave them to me for $400 installed I believe.

    They work great for my 5 year old daughters and wife getting in and out of the truck. I don't use them because it's easier for me to just step into the truck, I'm 5' 8".

    They are very light and would probably tear off pretty easy if you hung them up on a rock or something. If I did a lot of serious off roading I would not get them. If I had to pay full price I probably would not get them either. $600 is a lot of money for something so light. You can bust your shins on the too if you are not careful.

    I think they look great though. So if you can get them for a good price, go for it.

    Got mine of Craigslist for $275. If you are patient, I bet you'll find some... I'm seeing more and more OEM steps being sold private party in the Seattle area.

    The predator steps aren't built for shit. I bent one of mine from a gentle scrape against sandstone. That said, if you want some, Id sell mine to you (passenger rear step is the one that's bent, but still usable) on the cheap plus shipping. I have a DCSB.

    I had to put steps on my F150 for 4'11" ex and MIL. I hated them. They just got in my way. Mainly exiting cab.

    I haven't tried any, but everyone I talked to swear by N-Fab step bars (looks almost like the predator bars). Run about $350ish on ebay.

    They get caught on rocks and will snap off. I even bottomed out the truck a bit going on an inclined street entree and a step grazed the cement.
