That's pretty neat! It would look great if it wrapped all the way around.

I noticed a little bit of play on the knobs this morning, quick simple solution without damaging or drilling the knobs.

    Tissue paper! LOL

shit, that is right. The led panel is only 1/2 round.
Sooooo, who wants to make full round led panels for the 4X4 switch?

You could mount the current board to a thin piece of wood and solder more leds in maybe.

i actually have a bag of pre wired 5mm led's
Same i used to wire in foot well accent lighting.
Could probably finagle something eventually when i have some time to get after it. One of these things with a diffuser should light it up fairly easilly.

So Jaimes, I have not taken the 4WD switch apart on mine, a 2014 like yours. I know it is not lighted from the factory and you have to add lighting when you get the new switch in so I assume that if I were to take off the stock switch and put one of these on it would essentially not be lit since I had not switched out the stock "guts"? Does that make any sense?

Yeah that makes sense. It seems to me on the back of our switches there is an allowance for a single bulb that currently just has a cap there. I haven't confirmed that myself but I could have swore I read that somewhere. The problem is our stock switches have painted graphics for 2h 4h and 4l so nobody has likely checked to see if you can just plug the bulb in and add a couple of pins in the connector to light it. At least I assume nobody has tried since the light wouldn't shine through even if you did. Someone who would likely know for sure is @rcbs204 he made the lighted 4wd switch board for the 05-11 switches so I'm sure he had a look into the 12-15 switches too.

From looking at the switch, 1-2 LEDs is all you need.

Don't know why I never thought to use one of my spares for the 4x4 knob. Looks good.
