They need like 5 wires to run. Do you want a wire harness specifically made for a first gen tacoma? I plan to just modify a stock harness if I do a motor swap.

 

Wiring is the easy part, plug and play except for the alternator. At least it was on the 2 that I've done

 

TC includes clamps with their extended shafts.

OEM clamps will most likely require a heavy duty tool. I have 2 on hand, the first one didn't have enough leverage on the handles and clearance in the jaws to compress the clamps properly.

 

Did you already buy the extended shafts? By "kit" I didn't mean the LT kit itself, I'm pretty sure the clamps come with the extended axles. I ordered 3 extended axles and received 3 clamp kits with my order.

 

Right where the stock bump is or that general area.

I'd want a plug and play as easy as it can be. Don't really want to rip apart everything. But easy and motor swap don't go together lol

I hung out with a guy that had that setup on his tundra. He raced the mint this year without any problems. I think that tacomas a first gen. Hopefully he'll set something up for the second gen since Howe has no intrest

 

Worked really good it snapped their tie rod by spectator 1 lol

 

i don't get it. It looks like an OEM rack to me..just beefy mount.

 

They supposedly have a weld it yourself kit that will work on second gens. I'm waiting to hear back from them. @nfs257 wheres that swing set steering at?!

 

Would rather snap a tie rod than grenade a steering rack.

Just trying to see if anyone has input on these

 

I used spray cans of rubberized undercoating for the front fenders. No more rock spider webs on the outside after a couple cans per fender lol

 

I did the same works pretty good
