Im getting ready to knock out the pins on a front sight. Typically which way are they oriented? I heard they are tapered...I just dont want to be trying to extract them the wrong direction. Any help is appreciated.

I used to know, but it's been a long time since I tried...I beat the shit out of the pins on my BCM and they never would move in either direction...ended up having to heat and cut because BCM presses theirs in and it's extremely hard to tap them out

Look at the pictures of front sight blocks on brownells, I believe that they punch out from right to left (push them from the right side)

https://bloodandbrass.com/ Literally the only place selling exactly what I wanted, they had 6 left when I purchased and now it's off their website. They have a good rating on FB and it says they answer quickly to messages and email... it's been 2 days now. And the number just rings and goes to voicemail. Hoping I just didn't waste $44... Really wanted the fore grip for my SBR.

CC, I got a secondary email saying the payment had gone through but nothing yet and I emailed the original email and no answer back from that either. I'm actually reading through their posts on FB, looking at comments, I've found 2 comments where people are actually begging them to answer back and trying to see where their orders are, and then I see some where the people are amazed it came in 3 days from purchase. Hopefully it comes, we'll see.

What's a decent scope for the price. Not looking to spend more money than I have in my AR, but wanting a decent scope on her.

A lift, some wheels, some tires, some performance, some cosmetic and then audio.
Are you looking for variable powered or fixed powered scopes? There are several decent ones like the Primary Arms 1-6x Gen 2 and new Gen 3, Primary Arms 1-8x or Vortex Strike Eagle 1-6x. You are basically buying the warranty piece of mind and reticle between these, all 3 are budget friendly and SFP optics. Then there is 3x or 4x optics like a poor mans ACOG by Burris or Vortex or Primary Arms to even a Nikon 3x32mm. Then there is 3-9x 40mm style and up. Just depends how you want to use your rifle. I enjoy the 1-6x tho not a true 1x more like 1.1-1.2 power cause be used at CQB like a red dot then full 6x or 8x to hit something farther away. Trade off is weight. I am pushing 35 so my eye sights aren't that great. So I need a variable powered optic on my rifles.
