I ride, or I used too.
It's been since early last June last I rode. Didn't even look at them during the bit of nice weather we just had.
Way too many assholes, had way too many close calls in the couple weeks before I parked it. Maybe it's just the college town vibe out on the streets.

Problem is most drivers are just that way, cell phone, bratty kids, just don't give a fuck, entitled, poor driver to begin with, the list is endless. There is a reason why my bikes are deafeningly loud and brightly colored/shiny chrome...and I'm still invisible.

I never hit the interstate on my bikes anymore, it's just suicide. The side roads are more fun anyway.

There was an old lady that i worked with who when talking about a motorcycle lane splitting, said "if i would've seen him coming i would've moved over to make him crash, he's not allowed to do that"

Our country is mostly people who are angry at life, jealous of others, only care about themselves, etc... and that's what makes it a dangerous thing to do.

Of course there's always someone doing a wheelie at 40mph over traffic while splitting... But there's bad apples with everything.

And as far as using the shoulder... That's where all the road junk is. Flat tires on a bike aren't fun.

    chill out.
an air cooled motorcycle can overheat in stop and go traffic.
    he isn't hurting you.

that said, I'd be hesitant as hell to do it myself because of all the spicy tacos out there.

You don't know me well enough to make statements like that.
Every time you quote me, it's vicious in nature. I'm not taking it personal but it's hard to take you seriously when you constantly attack me.

I miss riding...but too many close calls and for some stupid reason I want to live and live well. I will say this: I am a much better driver thanks to my experiences as a rider.

On that note, are there any racing circuits in the area? For cars or motorcycles? I'm flirting with getting a project vehicle again and it would be nice to open it up "safely".

I think another way to look at it is he called you a 1-percenter. And when did you turn into a precious snowflake millenial? That's not the behavior I expect to see from you!
