vinyl vs sticker vs decal

Im looking to get a california state flag sticker(?) for the back window of my truck. whats the difference between a sticker, decal, or vinyl???

 

Vinyl is the material used to make stickers and decals.

 

I figured that but wasnt sure. So is it a sticker I want or a decal?

 

I don't think it makes a difference.

 

i think the only difference is "cut" or "printed"...

i now it does not make much difference which you say, but i always thought of stickers as paper and decals as vinyl

 

i think "technically" a sticker is something you peel and "stick" and a decals is applied using heat and or water (like with plastic models)

decals sound more serious, anyways
