My brother got me one for my birthday and it's super nice but yeah the cord sucks. Although very little maintenance and not having to deal with gas is nice. I does have a feature to suck up stuff and grind into a bag. Really nice by the pool so I don't blow a bunch of stuff into it.

I got a tip from one of boys about break bolts loose. It's not something I'd ever have thought of. He uses an air chisel with socket attachment. I swear, works like a charm.

If you need battery packs, Batteries Plus can often rebuild battery packs if you're unable to get a new one.

I always try and get behind a rig if traffic gets backed up as well, also I try and leave a good gap also from years of driving stick. Plus, getting in a hurry just fucks everything up. It doesn't make the road clear up any faster.

I love mine, I run on 1" top locks with it all the time at work. Other guys gotta go find a 3/4" impact hahaha. So much power, no dragging a hose out.

Also I've hit up DeWalt to see what's up with a 20v brushless 3/8" impact. Hopefully if enough people start asking for one they will put one in production. Everyone go bug them!

I've got the Milwaukee one and it is also pretty nice at getting all those east coast rusty bolts off my truck.

If I already and Milwaukee tools I'd have gone with that. They make good tools. But, already had a bunch of DeWalt, plus the DeWalt 1/2" has more torques! Muahahahaha.

On the subject of tools, ill say this ,makita makes pretty good stuff, and im sure dewalt does too. But, and this is from personal experience (union electrician ) the makitas batteries are way better, last longer, and the tool is lighter weight then the dewalts.
