Ha for real? I assume they might have the same ride quality as what you currently have? Atleast that install would be pretty easy to swap out though.

I mean for $1250 shipped, I can get the full Toytec Boss lift... the cheapest Icon kit (not even a full lift, just front coilovers and rear shocks, is $1500.... plus I'd have to spend another $100 on an AAL and $30 on a diff drop

Dude I say go ahead with your spacer idea in the interim. In the big picture with suspension, I would hold off until a meet of some sort and ride in some other folks vehicles. You might be surprised at how much you value good suspension after testing some out. We could easily make a weekend wheeling trip at some place close like petersmill with them opening back up and then you can see what capabilities you might want to invest in.

why no diff drop? I have run a diff drop on every single Toyota that I've lifted and never had a problem.. and I like my CV angles better as well

You need to checkout @HeadStrong Off-Road . For 350 more you could get UCAs and a full leaf pack and that's with the front shocks assembled.

@TacoCat, do you have these front coils? If so, you might be able to shed some light here...

Since you live by a few people already, I have no problem rolling up your way on a weekend just to add mine to the mix so you can get a good all around test on what you might be interested in. Amongst many of us, I think we got all of the suspension systems pretty much covered.
