I kinda don't get the idea of a RTT. They seem super pricey. For half the cost you can get a four season Bibler tent that will last a lifetime. Don't like the idea of not being able to use the vehicle after set-up. Can someone enlighten me?

Covered in stickers and chrome stick-ons for extra horse torques and foot powers. Icon sticker gets me tons of travel, dozens of milimeters.
In defense of a roof top tent, they're ridiculously easy to setup.

I think they look massive gay as fuck. #racetruck4lyfe

Gotta pull all your shit out of the shell in order to sleep in there though. Also no head room. I will give you that hard sides are nice. I have gone through many phases. RTT is my favorite.

    The evolution of me camping:

    Truck bed tent

    Then I got an rtt:

    then a shell:

Then back to the RTT on the shell:

    Then a 4runner and a ground tent:

    And now I'm here:

I have been through several phases myself. Truck tent was a pos/hassle. My favorite was my 1971 Westfalia.

Well finally got the custom plate in the mail from the DMV.. only took 22 weeks. Surprised no one got this one already... tried to get 4X4TACO but DMV wouldn't let me for some reason. I remember another member briefly giving a reason on TW but can't think of it off the top of my head. Anyways, 4WDYOTA will work :D

Kings, springs, Jerry can set up, ditch lights... hoping to get a Molle panel before overland expo. Got super jealous of @GHOST SHIP's

DMV won't let anything that could be seen as innapropriate. In certain context, taco means vag or even a slur. I don't know if that's why, but that would be my guess.

Leave it to CA DMV for that :anonymous:

Yet they let DUNEWHR slip through

Maybe just a California thing because there's another member on here in the az section that has 4X4TACO. Non the less I'm happy I finally got the plate

It's a comp that goes through and determines. Same kind of thing that goes into names on video games and stuff. That's why you get names like URMoM_5uX_C0kS

But you don't have race truck. You have glass and a sex pony tail.

Damn. How do you do it? Trucks and tents and stuffs and backwards and forwards. Shoot me a money tree, homie. Pics of your worst trail casualty?
