I'm just out of joint because the salesman put his monthly quota above me being satisfied. I asked for the extension to the warranty as an opening offer waiting for his counter offer. I did this all in emails for a paper trail. Yes, I should have not accepted the truck, but we are past that. I'm leaning towards having them come get it.

Around here most dealers have a shuttle that will take folks to/from their workplace within a reasonable radius.

Well yeah, they'll do that. Chances of the salesman ever seeing an individual customer again are very low in this day and age.

Either that or involve your wife's help will be the simplest / easiest solutions. If they pick it up, do a thorough walkaround in daylight both at pickup and delivery, videoing it and any blemishes with your phone.

The hell is the problem here? Drop the truck off and let them install the starter. How old are you? My 4 year old figures out more complicated issues than this by herself.

BUCKLE UP! It makes it harder for Aliens to pull you out of your Truck.
If all else fails grit your teeth together, get in his face and in Clint Eastwoods voice ask "when you eat do you want to use a fork or a straw?" I'm kidding don't do that

:deadhorse: 4 pages of this shit.... Even worse, I have read and commented. We all know how to solve this issue, but we cannot hold the OP's hand to do so. There is no problem here - your wife practically works next to the dealership..

No offense, but you kind of come across as whining about nothing. You're not entitled to free stuff because you are inconvenienced.
I mean it's 30 miles, or 60 whatever. Put on some nice tunes, and enjoy driving your truck. I think the dealership went way above and beyond by offering to have someone pick up your truck.
You're saying the guy that you trust cutting and wiring on your vehicle isn't trusted enough to drive it o_O

Would't the later years in any extended warranty be the most costly to the party offering the warranty. Not a stretch to understand why they said no to your offer.

Does she have any single sisters? Kidding aside, have you completed their satisfaction survey? They will basically do ANYTHING to get 100% on that.
