I did the exact same thing a year or so ago and it works just fine. The angle of the piston is basically the same regardless.

Put on my RCI sliders yesterday. I was a challenge doing it my self but I got it done.

I started with 2 jacks and moved to one and balanced it. The drivers side is a pain as there is a lot to remove and I still need to drill and add a few bolts but this thing is really sturdy now....

I would say start with the passenger, there only a bit of electrical and move to the driver side.

I just received an email back and they said it will be fine.
Excellent news, I don't mind drilling out and re-riveting, but would rather not. At some point I will

I was pissed at first when I saw that I had done that but looking at the center of the piston with the lock ring on either side I saw it was virtually the same. Once I slowly closed the hood and opened it I felt better. Most people won't notice it but we will :D

My Sport came with the power rear sliding window as well. Use it all the time (Smoker).

With a drill, quite a bit of swearing, and a lot of effort :D

In all seriousness, pulled down the headliner - drilled the hole - mounted the light - ran the cabling between the headliner and the roof through the firewall - set up a switch

I like them. Though I feel like the bronze would look better with color matched flairs.
